Rece Carter

Rece Carter (Rece.Carter@emwnlaw.com)  is an incoming associate of the firm who joined the team in April of 2024. Rece primarily focuses on various Commercial Real Estate matters. Prior to joining EMWN Law, Rece received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan in 2021 and then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2024. 

While at the University of Kentucky College of Law, Rece took classes covering a variety of disciplines including Real Estate, Taxation, and Estate Planning. Rece was a legal research student representative for LexisNexis and he also served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association for two years both as a class representative and ultimately, as Vice President. Rece further served as a graduate senator for the University of Kentucky Student Government Association for two years. Graduating with honors from the University of Michigan, Rece was also a founding father and executive board member of the pre-law fraternity: Phi Delta Phi. 

Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, Rece is very excited to remain in the Commonwealth and assist clients with any of their real estate needs. Outside of work, Rece enjoys spending time with his family, attending UK sporting events, equine events, museum tours and golfing.
